Cornish Valley View Bed & Breakfast

All About us

Both Roger and myself (Roz) originate from Cornwall and, after having spent many years in the city of Plymouth working, have 'come home' to Cornwall upon Roger's retirement. It took three and a half years to sell the Plymouth house and find our dream home. We moved into Valley View at the end of January 2013 and worked hard to turn this beautiful house into our home. We fell in love with the area after bringing our dog Samson here from Plymouth for day trips, stocking up on locally made jams and chutney (we now make our own) which used to be sold outside a house down the road. Since moving in we have discovered a whole lot more to the area which we will be delighted to share with you. We share our home and garden with the rest of the family... let me introduce you:

SAMSON

SAMSON

Our Cockapoo. Loves people and is very happy to welcome you into our home. He will probably run off to find a slipper to bring you or one of his toys. He is a very keen swimmer all year round. He loves moles, squirrels, rabbits and pheasants...he has dug, flushed or chased them all to no avail (thankfully) but it makes going for walks a lot fun.

MANNIE & BAGGIE

MANNIE & BAGGIE

The kittens...(actually they are 8 years old but we call them the kittens). Silver tabby twins who really enjoy the great outdoors and the company of their 'staff'.

They are both terribly nosy and often find themselves shut in cupboards or rooms they are not meant to be in after sneaking in when our backs are turned. Baggie, as her name might suggest has a penchant for bags, boxes and suitcases!

THE GIRLS!

THE GIRLS!

Our free range chickens provide delicious eggs for breakfast!

We do have human family too but none of them live with us now...they just enjoy visiting.
